I just saw this and am so sad for you. My condolences to you and big hugs.
We also lost a foal in February. I have three more coming and actually dreading the events. don’t think I can take any more drama. Sometimes I wonder why we breed :no: But as I read each year the same sad stories I know I am not alone.
I’m so sorry for your loss
I went through placentitis with my first foal just over a year ago, it remains one of the most scariest things I have ever gone through, and I feel so lucky to have my healthy yearling in the paddock when it so easily could have gone the other way.
