UPDATE - Thoughts on Ikonic Saddles?

UPDATE: In case anyone was interested/curious.

Had saddle fitter out and bought a new saddle :D. Ended up with the full calflined, half deep seat jump saddle. Price point was great, it is a well made, solid saddle that offers a secure seat while keeping a really nice feel of the horse. Wool flocked with a changeable gullet. I couldn’t be happier with it and it made it really obvious my old saddles were making me work really hard to keep a nice, centered position.

Seems like they are more popular outside of the states but does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the Ikonic brand? They are designed by Tolga, otherwise I know very little about them and the differences between models.

I have an older Tolga saddle that I really like, so when I was shopping for a new saddle I looked into Ikonic. I talked to a former Tolga distributer who said she didn’t like the Ikonic saddles nearly as much as the Tolgas. I ended up finding a used Voltaire that worked great for me, so I didn’t pursue the Ikonic saddles further. They did look interesting to me, especially given the connection with Tolga.

Thank you for the response, I think I am going to take a look at them in person and at least sit in one. I like that they are wool flocked and have the changeable gullet. Oh saddle shopping…
