I thought LK called them. Thatā€™s what she said she didā€¦.multiple times over.

She said in the post that she called the building inspector and the fire marshal.

The post is still there. I just took a screen shot of it.

I swear this is getting hard to remember. So who called:

CPS?
SafeSport?

What LK writes there, that she and RG after repairs to wiring of fire detectors, weā€™re allowed to stay does not jive with the suit filed against LE.

I know which I believe

Also seems to contradict with thisā€¦ā€¦

Now, now, you know how those pesky lawyers make things up and say whatever comes to mind when suing someone. LK told us they lie so it must be true.

I know that itā€™s easier for our brains to think of people as ā€œjust evil for no reasonā€ but in reality the situations are usually a lot more complex. Confirmation bias is a hell of a drug.

Oddly we have been the ones considering how things came to pass. Examining and discussing motive, probability, logic and how situations became muddied between various players. Weā€™ve offered various scenarios and are questioning everything while literally saying ā€œmay justice prevailā€.

I have no idea because Iā€™ve never researched such a matter, nor do I know every case tried in the history of the world. However, it is highly unlikely.

I can possibly how they could be anti-immigrant, but at the same time having some level of regulation isnā€™t the worst thing. One would think that one would have have demonstrate a certain level of competency and carry certain insurances in order to be registered with the state. There may be other requirements as well. If not, then it is sort of a waste to have such a registry.

How is it that laborers canā€™t get work? Is it impossible for an immigrant to become registered? You said that there is essentially nothing stopping someone from having someone who is unregistered do work in/on their house, so how is it preventing laborers and/or immigrants from getting work?

Genuine questions out of curiosity because itā€™s something Iā€™m not so familiar with.

A few people have tried to explain to you who GJ is. As for her being relevant to the case, that opinion seems to vary, and you are free to make up your own mind on that. If you have followed along, you should have a decent grasp of whatā€™s going on. However, you seem too fixated on the ā€œirrelevant BSā€ and there is some of that, but you can ignore it or sort through it if you care to. If not, then whatever.

Iā€™m not sure why you consistently bash CoTH but still stick around just to insert mean spirited or snide comments. There is valuable info all over CoTH, and there is BS, but Iā€™d rather fixate on the former.

Not an unpopular opinion amongst my friendsā€¦ my circle wholeheartedly agrees and laments our lot with regards to gun issues. But I digress. Back to trying to weed through the chaff. Lots to sort through hereā€¦ see you in a few days. LOL.

I have zero knowledge of NJ law but having served on a jury in an adjacent state in a trial to do with a (non-fatal) shooting, the firearms charges presented also had lesser charges presented as options and in no instance were we asked about purpose or lawfulness of possession, rather the fact of possession and use (which was unlawful) that led to injury and near death. We were given an option to consider a lesser charge, if my memory serves. It was horribly complicated, but nobody argued the possession or use, and ultimately based on the facts and the interpretation of law that the judge presented us, we convicted.

I imagine that the prosecution aims high, but there are lesser charges the jury might consider. I also imagine that some of the caveats are thrown out with the bath water when the crime committed rises to a certain level. Butā€¦ not a lawyer, just someone fulfilling my civic duty about 50 miles away.

PS, nobody died in my trial, and there was no attempted murder charge, but the defendant got decades.

Correct me if I am wrong, but on the original thread plenty of people were having ā€œthese discussionsā€ when she was still in hospital. Am I wrong? Not excusing her abhorrent behavior, but I do believe that this discussion of her past actions, character and alleged culpability pre-dates her threats to COTH members.

The thing is thoughā€¦.her behavior wasnā€™t limited to COTHā€¦.it was all over FB and Twitter. She was threatening random strangers with SS for victim blaming over FB comments.

I went to her FB page after the shooting out of curiosity and saw a lot of stuff that was outside the norm. Then stories of behavior came out. So I went back and really looked. By then the sanitizing of FB had begun so I screen shot what I found interesting.

By the time I migrated to COTH in regard to this case it became even more compelling and I saw that people were confused as to terms etc so I started jumping in to explain.

The horse world gets very small sometimes and there were multiple personal experiences I read. Then the injured party began to post and things got messy. Stories didnā€™t seem to mesh in many peopleā€™s eyes. Then the gun conversation came upā€¦

Agreed, butā€¦ see: horse murders.

I am not denying thatā€¦ but as it pertains to the post I was quoting my question stands.

I am not questioning your personal timeline. I am questioning the COTH timeline as you represent it. I was probably screenshotting her posts while she was unconscious. So I am not agreeing with her behavior, but please donā€™t pretend that she brought this on herself 100%. That is simply not true.

Edited: not, not mot.

Taking my comment out of context. It was a specific response to a specific postā€¦ you are opening a door to a different line of questioning. I think she is terrible but the issues you are referring to do not pertain to the argument.
