Yes! In addition to this wonderful news (FREEDOM) I am thankful that my retired old gentleman has again bounced back from heart trouble. At 29, I know our time is short but any extra time with him being happy, sassy and demanding carrots is something for which to be most thankful.

But the big wins for MB were from the fact that not only Lala but poppa and momma bear and possibly a few sibs were BSC active everywhere and left a paper trail that showed them up for what they were. It was a genuine surprise to me when the now banned posters on COTH turned out to be real momma and poppa, not trolls.

SM gave Lala and her clan the rope they needed to hang themselves and destroy any lingering image of the poor little victim girl.

I’m hundreds of posts behind but this. It’s not just that LO and the MB inner circle kept it classy and discreet for years, it’s that not just LK (who has a long long history of SM histrionics) but also her parents showed their arses all over SM in the most astonishing manner possible. And then finding out that they all - all 3 of them - had assault records. Then they were all banned. I mean, it’s Tiger Kind levels of BSC SM behaviour and it’s a family affair.

You cannot make this stuff up it’s so bonkers.

When he didn’t get a prison sentence for the incident, Lala wanted to equate hospitalization with a prison sentence, and release with parole, and wanted to believe that he would be in hospital for as long as he would have been in prison if convicted. Also that release from hospital would follow the same procedures as parole complete with victim impact statements being central.

By conflating hospitalization with prison, Lala could maintain that she had still “won” the case.

This. There was a fantasy version of the outcome in which a person acquitted via NGRI could - nay, in this case, would - spend even more time in psychiatric confinement than if they’d simply pled guilty and served jail time. There were SM postings about how vile and terrible AK and Greystone were, worse than prison even. And posting of articles about people stuck forever in a psychiatric facility and all sorts of scare mongering and crowing about how long and awful such confinement would be. Absolute glee after the last Krol hearing when he was not released. Was it something about it being like a birthday? Whatever it was was typically crass and juvenile

This pleasure of hate narrative of MB ending up in a worse position than if found guilty was spewed far and wide as well as here.

That it turned out to be utter codswollop must be a painful black eye given the oft-repeated arrogant pronouncements of the fantasy scenario.

I mean, it’s utterly silly for anyone to wonder out loud how an over 40 woman, who seems to have spent most of her career working as a “professional dancer”, affords to have 6 horses in board in South Florida, and to pay for a full time groom. That’s totally normal. Nothing suspicious about that

Actually, learning where the money comes from would probably help MB a whole lot. Just my musings, and I am also presuming he doesn’t already know. My bet is “where the money comes from” is at the heart of the whole plan to destroy him, and possibly more. Maybe the K’s thought this would be some kind of a new resource for them. After all, Michael wasn’t the first person they tried to sue/grift.

I imagine if the video of LK and RG following the young lady around Walmart to get an up-skirt plays on Netflix it’s going to go over like a lead balloon. So many instances of body shaming that people have a record of. So many foul SM PMs - threats from here, threats on other platforms. So many BSC SM posts. The full criminal records of all three family members.

And, heads up, the viewing public is not going to give a flying fig that those charges were all somehow made to go away. They can scream online - look at the disposition!! - all they want but, two things: (i) no one does, and (ii) even if they did, I’ll say this one more time for the cheap seats - a person, their SO, and BOTH their parents all having assault charges, regardless of the disposition thereof, is 100% super not normal, not okay, and will colour everyone’s impression of them. As it should.

Nothing for it - just facts.

“100% super not normal” is correct, but for some reason that sentence really made me laugh. They won’t come out of this looking well at all, but they haven’t seemed to care about looking (or behaving) well, so far.

VHM had a post in which she said that “opinions are like belly buttons; everyone has one”. I interpreted this as implying that an open minded person would treat any and all opinions with respect.

I don’t agree that all opinions should be accorded respect. As an example, I pointed out that there are some people who deny that the Holocaust happened.

There is indisputable evidence that the Holocaust happened, and the “opinion” that it didn’t occur is grossly untenable and very dangerous. I gave a number of examples.

Another example is the opinion that the 2020 election was stolen. There is ample evidence that Biden legitimately won in the electoral college and won the popular vote by a fairly large margin. Promoting the “opinion” that the election was stolen is not credible and is dangerous.

I am not saying that those who deny that MB shot LK are morally equivalent to those who deny the Holocaust happened. I’m just using Holocaust deniers as an extreme example of when it’s not OK to excuse someone’s beliefs with “everyone is entitled to their opinion”.

Wow, that’s some prettty poorly conceived logic, there. Add “desperation” to that bingo card, things are falling apart at the CH kitchen counter laptop this evening, pour CH another glass of box wine, there’s a good boy. Using the holocost as an example for any moral argument is a moral and social risk, certainly in your case, in this case, in any case. That is reprehensible. Shame on you.

But then, you associate yourself with people who follow others and film them in Walmart for up-skirt pics, so what could I expect.

Just think, today MB walks out of Greystone and is wrapped in the warm embrace of friends and family. He won’t have to go back there at the end of the week, or the end of the month, etc.

Friday was a good day. Today, November 20, 2023 is a GREAT day for him.

May the Kanawrecks enjoy their holiday meal of crow and humble pie. Lauren brought a suit then opted not to sit for a deposition. That smells like a BIG LOSS to me.
