My son in law is from France. Wegman’s was a mandatory destination when he married my daughter.

He also said Americans can’t cook but that’s another story.

Having spent a large amount of time with the French, they all say Americans can’t cook.

I will also say this- I have had some of the best meals of my life in France.

But goddamnit, I am a hellova cook!

Some Americans can cook, but in general, I find the American definition of “cook” to be different

American food is frightening though. The things that are allowed in the US! So much of it is banned, not eaten, or otherwise not allowed in the EU. Terrible what is allowed in the US.

Fun fact about Wegmans. It is named after the founder of the original location in western New York. I have friends who went to school with different members of the family by the time the store was a household name in that part of the state. That had to be a little weird, I would think. Lol.

I feel like I’m in the minority that can’t stand Wegman’s. For whatever reason, their product aisle layout is completely incomprehensible to me and I can never find what I need there. Every time I try shopping there I’m frustrated which makes me not like it.
