Worth the trip!
Having spent a large amount of time with the French, they all say Americans canât cook.
I will also say this- I have had some of the best meals of my life in France.
But goddamnit, I am a hellova cook!
Iâve never been to nor seen a Wegmanâs.
Some Americans can cook, but in general, I find the American definition of âcookâ to be different
American food is frightening though. The things that are allowed in the US! So much of it is banned, not eaten, or otherwise not allowed in the EU. Terrible what is allowed in the US.
Fun fact about Wegmans. It is named after the founder of the original location in western New York. I have friends who went to school with different members of the family by the time the store was a household name in that part of the state. That had to be a little weird, I would think. Lol.
I feel like Iâm in the minority that canât stand Wegmanâs. For whatever reason, their product aisle layout is completely incomprehensible to me and I can never find what I need there. Every time I try shopping there Iâm frustrated which makes me not like it.
Youâre not the only one.
Their prepared foods all use soy (oil, sauce, etc.) so I canât eat them.
My husbandâs family also went to school with some of the Wegman family in Pittsford.
Danny went to McQuaid Jesuit and a close family member was one of his classmates.
My in-laws all went to Pittsford Central where my FIL taught science and math.
My sister in law went to school with a female member of the family and called her a snob but she doesnât like me either, so???
One of my nephews used to date a Piggly-Wiggly heiress. She had an underground indoor at the familyâs summer place in Alaska.
Kasey Perry (Olympic Bronze) is a local supermarket heiress.
Wow. The mind boggles.
I always heard a rumor that there was an underground shooting range under either the barn or the indoor at Port Jervis.
The above posted photos of the arraignment remind me, once again, how remarkably similar RG and JK look. HmmmâŠâŠ.
Same.
Thereâs an underground shooting range just down the road from my barn. Militia/State of Jefferson types but they grow great hay.
I think thereâs a member of the Meijer (sp?) family who shows in the hunter ring.
so gross
I donât really want to add to the derailment topic but I am very curious as to what you are talking about with this comment.
Hereâs a summary article:
I donât know the source, but there are further sources cited at the end of the article, and all info appears to be accurate.
OK, so you are talking processed foods. I thought we were talking about cooking, which I assumed was not processed foods.
