There was an article in the Chronicle very recently with a sidebar that two of the Biggest Name US endurance riders–Kanavy and CrandellCradell (? sp)–are foregoing the WEGs because of the three weeks required at Shaker Village.
What would be wrong with 3 weeks at Shaker Village?
Although the endurance chef seems to be very much a “do it my way, or it’s the highway” sort of guy from the Kanavy/Crandell reactions in the COTH story.
