While I applaud the decision which is being described as a result of both surging Delta COVID and financial burden on attendees, it would have been nice if the elephant in the womb had also been cited as a reason to not meet in Texas.
I realize USDF likely doesn’t want to appear “political.”
I wanted to attend as I was picking up a rider medal. But I was seriously tempted to boycott anything Texas. The USDF has taken the decision out of my hands. Which is fine.
