Hey anyone know if USDF is no longer including the medal with the certificate?
I placed my order for my medal and the certificate came but without the medal?
Which medal was it?
I think they mail them separately. I earned my bronze and silver this year. My bronze certificate and medal came several weeks (months?) apart. I have received my silver certificate but not the medal yet.
If you want a lapel pin, that has to be purchased from the USDF store.

Rider medals are held until year end so they can be presented at the convention. When you send in your money you get the certificate right away, and a lapel pin right away if you purchase one. But the medal they hold until the convention. Now that the convention has been changed to virtual after the New Year, I guess we will get them in the mail in 2022.
[I moved up to GP in Feb and got my gold the same weekend. But it sounds like it will be almost a full year until I actually see the thing. It took me five decades of riding (through several disciplines) to earn the darn thing, so what’s a few months in the big scheme of things?

Thanks everyone! It’s just strange cause when I got my bronze and silver a few years ago it all came together so this just seemed weird. Glad they haven’t discontinued sending out the actual medals.

Hey congrats on the gold!! I earned my bronze in July 2019. I got my certificate right away, my medal came in January after convention. Congrats again, huge accomplishment!
