“In a landmark step for the global eventing community, British Eventing (BE) and the United States Eventing Association (USEA) have formalised a first-of-its-kind international partnership aimed at fostering strategic growth, innovation and excellence within the sport of eventing.

This partnership establishes a collaborative framework centred on four key pillars: information sharing, strategic growth, educational and competitive programme development, and technology infrastructure integration. It marks the first formal relationship of this scale and depth between two of the world’s leading national eventing organisations.”

I will be interested in seeing how this goes

Well… I hope that BE rubs off on USEA more than I hope USEA rubs off on BE.

The main difference is FUNDING and EDUCATION! Both of which are woefully inadequate in the USA, and probably can’t be helped by BE. This raises the question; What does BE get ? It all sounds like a bunch of gobbledegook.

Money in exchange for training young riders and course designs/ training designers I would guess. Hopefully also a copy of their functional recording systems instead of whatever manual entry google docs disaster USEA currently uses. Maybe BE can also give them the code for the horse/ rider search feature for their website for an extra fee so you can look things up and get a real answer.

I agree. I’m hoping this will help USEA.
