No readers in dressage - the rider must memorize the test.
You’ll find the complete show list on the USEA website, but the lead time for when the omnibus details get posted seems to vary a bit depending on the show/organizer. I miss the days when the omnibus used to come out well in advance - seems like it gets posted closer and closer to opening date now.

I am trying to figure out which test to memorize?
Once the omnibus listing comes out (searchable here: https://useventing.com/events-competitions/calendar?area=3), it will include which test is being used for each level. There are only 2 or in some cases 3 for each level (https://useventing.com/events-competitions/resources/dressage-tests) - it’s helpful to read both/all tests, so you’re familiar with what may be asked at your level and can school/practice appropriately. The omnibus listing will include which test that event is using, as well as the specifications for the cross country phase, like this:
