Used Saddle Pads - how to price?

I am going to a used tack sale & have some saddle pads to sell.
Shaped fleece pads, a dressage square & one baby pad.
They are in decent condition for the most part. but despite numerous washings over the years, some have stains on the undersides. Otherwise in good shape - no tears, rips, etc.

Anything I can try to take out the stains? They were spot-treated & washed with bleach in the past - still show staining where they meet horse’s back.

I was thinking $5 for these pads, then $2 for some that do show minor wear.

TIA

Those are excellent prices. I’ve sold at consignment sales for about 8 bucks to 10 bucks, depending on pad. Have you tried OxyClean? I like to soak my white items in OxyClean, then wash after that. It can help.

Thanks, Paradox
I just need to get rid of “stuff”, not make any profit.
The way I see it, pads have sat in my tack trunk/trackroom 4-Ever, anything I get is gravy.

I will try the Oxyclean if I make time to do so before the sale. :uhoh:
If not, WTH, I’ll take less just to not take stuff home.

If they are in decent condition I’d just donate them to a rescue that could use them. That’s what I’ve done and it was just so much easier than dealing with the consignment shop in my area (especially when you’re talking about a $5 pad).

I have a stack that I need to donate but these are going to a place that brings them to other countries where people rely on horses/donkeys to get them around - they’ll use them for their cart horses/donkeys to prevent horrible open sores. There’s a vet in CA that routinely collects them and distributes them. I just need to remember to do it.

Honestly I would just give them away. Stacks of giveaways in beautiful shape periodically appear at the barn where I take lessons. Or sell them as one or two “lots” maybe, for $4 or $5?

Pads that are in not so great shape I just give to my small animal vet to use as cage pads.
