It’s just more lip service. I think on some level they are afraid if they really start cracking on down on the bs that’s been going on since forever that people will stop showing en masse because they can no longer beat their horses behind the barns with impunity or do whatever other inappropriate things that they have been doing. And that of course means a loss of $$$ to USEF. That’s what it all boils down to.
I don’t believe that will happen. I don’t think the amount of these people is that large. It’s too large yes, and needs to be and should have been being addressed for years. But none of us will know until or unless USEF gets serious about the ugly side of the horse business.
