Required number of scores dropped. Interesting. Wondering if anything like this will follow for Dressage Regional Championships. Anyone heard anything?

I will be surprised if Regionals and the US Finals will be a go. Regionals run from September 16 in NY thru Oct 11 in VA so that means the qualifying cut off is about a month before. In many states with so many restrictions, I don’t see horse shows happening in mid summer. It has to be a level playing field for all parts of the country.
considering how short the season is in Region 6 ( PNW) I wonder if the championships at the end of september are going to be simply our only open show of the season. No Q scores, welcome all comers?
The first shows of the season are usually happening now, the last usually Labor Day or the week before.
