Horse has USDF number and a USEF horse ID number. Is the USEF horse ID number sufficient for local shows, USDF regionals, and USDF finals if only showing in national classes (including national FEI classes)?
It looks like you only need to pay the extra $300 to upgrade to the USEF Horse Recording Number if you are doing fancy stuff like CDIs and USEF Festival of Champions. Is that correct?
From USEF website: “An Annual or Lifetime Horse Recording is required if you wish to earn points or qualify scores for specific USEF championships. Please refer to your breed / discipline representative for clarification about any specific requirements.”
