Don’t forget to fill out your member survey that came via email a week or so ago. I’m not sure if it went out to everyone or just those who signed up for the competition and calendar webinar. But if you got one, please take the opportunity to fill it out and send it in.

I wanted to bump this up because I just took the survey. I was impressed by how detailed it is and how it brings up some of the issues that get discussed over and over again in COTH threads (like the relative importance of funding high performance sports). I think there might even have been a veiled reference to the mileage rule (the question about how having more shows in close proximity to you would change your showing behavior).

Like most surveys, it’s skewed towards how they want it to be interpreted. Yes, it asked us to rank what things were important to us, but I wish it also asked us to rank the job the USEF is doing in each area. As it is, they can point and say, “see, this is important to our members” and not realize we think they suck at how they are handling that area.

There were plenty of places to type in a reply with further details, which I did. So I think it’s a good opportunity to provide very specific feedback.
At least you know they will see it, unlike the endless discussions here on the BB and elsewhere.
