hi there, i’m attending a rated show in feburary and i was instructed to get a USHJA membership, i got the competing one (it was about 85) and i received my number. do i also have to get a USEF membership? or is it the same thing? they were both about 85.
You also need a USEF memberhip (or, if you are only going to one or two recognized shows, you can pay the USEF “show pass” fee).
It also depends what classes you plan to do. I believe USEF membership is not required for the outreach classes.
USEF and USHJA memberships are separate, unfortunately. The membership number that you received will be your member ID for both organizations, though! Good luck at your show!
