Awwww!
I see presents for my granddaughter!
Only, it’s a bay, not a chestnut with a black muzzle. Anyone want to tell them?
And I think the “golden chestnut with a chalky white mane” is a palomino.
I figured it was a halflinger, which do not come in Palomino but the pangare modifier is really common which makes that light mane and tail.
The one in the lower left corner is the one I am talking about.
The person who writes the website copy probably (or obviously!) knows absolutely nothing about horses. It’s like reading those Daily Mail articles about some celebrity at a horse show where everything is just an adjective-laden layman’s description of the accompanying photos.
The days of stamps like these are over, it seems. And does anyone remember the gorgeous Secretariat stamps of the past? There were several. I wish I’d kept some.
Yes!
But you’d have to use 3 of those today
