Uvex Perfexxion Active Helmets

So apparently this is the only one that fits my tiny weird shaped head;) (XXS!) costly little thing, but I’d rather be safe than have one that doesn’t stay put in a fall.

Who else uses them? Best added sun protection? I have a salamander visor on my Tipperary that I can transfer but the “beak shape” of the Uvex has me thinking it won’t work very well… I want to also put my go pro on it, so not sure I could do a “da-brim” and the go pro (planning to use it on front of helmet, not top)

and along with the beak shape - has that posed any problems for adding a cover (winter or otherwise) to fit correctly?

I bought my Uvex helmet from Reitsport Voss in Germany. They have an online store and a lot more Uvex models to choose from that Dover or other US shops. Even with shipping, my helmet was $110. Not cheap per se, but a lot less than $200-$300 helmets selling over here…

Was hesitant to spend the money on the Uvex Perfexxion but I’m very glad I did. Super comfortable, secure and light weight. I love it. Worth the money to me and I’m pretty frugal.

Not much help with the visor or Go Pro. My Cashel Cap fits the Uvex just fine but it is made of pretty soft material.

Another Uvex Rider here! On my second one after the first one saved my head in an accident… Like Lusoluv, I got mine in Germany and picked a more basic model. It’s excellent. I don’t like wearing a GoPro or even a light on my helmet as it tends to mess with its balance over distance so I can’t advise you there, and I don’t add visors either. Prefer to ride with sunglasses to protect from branches and dust. I use Uvex glasses as well, they really fit behind my ear well and work with the helmet.

I started wearing a visor after a ride that I got sleeted on…kept hitting me in the face! lol It came in very handy for other rainy days…but I guess Uvex can be adjusted to use with sunglasses, where as my tipperary gave me headaches if I tried to use glasses.

I will check out the german sites! I bought it to have it, but can return if I find one cheaper.

Do they have a English site, or did you just use the “translate” function to order?
