Vacum hose

Have a nice electrogroom vacum. Hose got mangled. Have replacement hose, but need to get the metal elbo off the old one & put on the new. Any ideas?

In the pictures, it looks like hose connects straight, no elbow joint.
If so, maybe there is a way to unscrew/screw the hose, or a clamp to loosen:

Is this what you have?

They call it an elbow end, so you are right there.
The connection is straight.
Looks like the metal hose clamp is standard, the kind you use a screw driver to loosen or tighten, you can see if yours is like this clamp, there is a place to fit a straight screwdriver or pliers/small wrench to turn and loosen or tighten the clamp:

Yes, that Isa want I have. I got the end attached to the vacum ok, the old hose came off fine , new one is clamped on. What I need is to get the metal elbow end off the old hose & put on the new one. Can’t figure out how to get it to budge. (Also can’t find a replacement… everything is already attached & that turns. It into a $95 hose for some reason)

Oh, that looks like it is maybe glued on from factory, so maybe it doesn’t come off, why you have to buy the whole thing?
Did your replacement hose come with that end already on it?
Maybe call Electrolux and ask them?

Unwilling to pay $95 for a vacum hose. Bought a plain hose for $27. Will do without elbow if I have to, but I do like it

If you can’t find a way to disconnect that, use a hacksaw to cut thru where the old hose and metal piece fit together.
Then use a piece of PVC pipe or rubber hose with clamps to connect both ends?

Our local hardware store has plastic and rubber irrigation hose connectors of all sizes.
Maybe you can find some that would work for your needs?

maybe you put that hose in very hot water, the hot water should “relax” the hose allowing you to slip it fitting out. That is how I have gotten fitted end off garden hoses.

If the fitting is glued to the hose, you could Carefully cut the hose away from the fitting

If hot water doesn’t work you might try a hair dryer to “relax” the hose or loosen glue.
