Valhoma Halter

Many years ago (4?) I bought a wonderful navy Valhoma halter from store that is now out of business. It is now on its last legs after spending most of its life hanging on the pasture gate and for the life of me I just can’t find another like it!!!

I’ve been to all the local stores that carry them, but they only have the cheap, ugly ones and not the nice(-er) one I got before. Not to mention the gaudy colors (No, Mom, red would NOT look nice on my chestnut…)!

Is there anywhere I can find one like the one I bought before?? Or am I doomed to look for a different one??

:no::lol:

I have some Valhoma halters that I love because they are well made and do not have an adjustable chin. I’ve looked for more and had a hard time finding them. Your best bet might be to dig around on the Internet!

I love Valhoma halters, only use them for our horses because they are quality halters. I have purchased some on Ebay, but usually I get them from the local Tack Store. The Store folks order them for me in colors I want, sizes I need, with NO throat snaps and NO adjustable chin straps. They are not cheap halters, but do hold up to daily use tying horses, for several years.

Never had one break that was in good condition, and when they start to die, I get rid of them. I am willing to pay for that dependability. They go thru the washing machine well, come clean, soft on the horse skin.

My local Tack Store is Tom’s Western Store in Michigan. Give them a call if you can’t locate Valhoma halters anywhere else.

Thanks guys! I hope I’ll be able to get one at least very similar to the one I have now!
I’m just too set in my ways to change haha.
