I had such a positive experience with Valley Vet Supply that I had to post a review here.

When my horse was diagnosed with ulcers, I looked into the cheapest place to buy Gastrogard. While ValleyVet wasn’t 100% the cheapest, it was a name I knew and trusted, so I ordered from them. The ground shipping was free and within the time frame that I needed the meds, as they were scheduled to arrive a couple of days before I ran out of the gastrogard my vet had sold me.

After two days, there was still no UPS information showing up. All the tracking number said was that a shipping label had been created. I emailed Valley Vet, more expecting an ETA than anything else.

Well was I surprised! Someone from Valley Vet called me back almost immediately. They looked into it and were also concerned that my meds would not arrive on time. The rep assured me that if UPS wasn’t providing more information by 1PM (their shipping time), they would ship me a new box, overnighted for Monday delivery. Free of charge! (an almost $1,000 order).

Well, the information didn’t appear. Another box was sent out. Both boxes arrived on Monday! The rep called me back and asked me how I would like to send it back. They offered to have UPS come back to the barn to pick it up, but since I had UPS pick up at my office, I said I could ship it back. They emailed me a prepaid return label and all was taken care of.

TL/DR: Thank you to Valley Vet for going above and beyond to ensure my horse received his medication in a timely & cost-efficient manner.

Go Valley Vet. I am glad you took the time to write praise for a company. It is human nature to take the time to complain when they have a bad experience with a company but not to praise a good experience.

Glad to hear it! I try to make the my first-stop for most shopping, and I can’t recall ever having any significant problems with the items I’ve ordered. I like the way I can save a list of favorites for easy re-order, and have started leaving reviews for products I buy as well.

Another point in their favor … I have Amazon prime and use that as much as I can because the points and free shipping really add up to some awesome savings. So I tried ordering Vitaflex Hoof Master’s blend on there because the price and shipping was lower than VV. What I got was a unit where the powder had kind of caked together. It chipped apart easily and I didn’t think much of it, until I went to re-order my next one from VV. When the VV one came I could see an amazing difference, a much fresher product that was greener and had a stronger (fresher) smell to it than the one I bought from Amazon. Since I’d used the amazon one up almost completely, I didn’t try getting my money back, but I did try leaving a poor review. They wouldn’t let me because the review is supposed to be on the product only, not the quality\age\shelf-life issue. Well nuts to them, keeping my horse shopping at Valley Vet!

Thos folks are great, really. I had an Rx for them to fill, and they said, oh, they’ll call my vet and get it all taken care of for me. I had put an order into my shopping cart for them to process once the Rx came through (adequan). Two days after I asked my vet to call them, and when they said they would call the vet, I went lookikng online for the status of the order. I was trying to figure out how to do a shipping tracking, seeing it had shipped, when my barn girl called saying she got the adequan. Really, I love those guys. They just make it happen.

I’ve used Valley Vet for years and have always loved their service. Their prices are comparable; not always the cheapest (but close) and product quality is always good. Nice people, too!

Can’t say what they would do if an order is wrong, because, well, it never has been wrong.

I’ve ordered from Valley Vet for MANY years, and they are an excellent company! Their customer service is outstanding. Even if their prices are a bit more expensive, I am more than happy to pay it in exchange for their great customer service. Two thumbs up!!

I think their shipping system is experiencing a glitch because my last two overnight shipments never showed the shipping information (on line or using the email link). Both times I call them and they apologized that the meds must have missed the truck. But, both times the meds showed up that day even though online they still showed as not-shipped.

Aside from that (not a big deal, just concerning when you really need something ), they’ve always been perfect to work with.

I bought something that I had trouble with. Not their fault. I called the company that made the product and they were just awful.

Someone from Valley Vet went and pulled that product from the warehouse and tried to help me over the phone. No other place has customer service like them!

Another long-time VV fan! I don’t order a huge amount from them in a given year, but I’ve been a regular customer for a really long time. They are my first go-to, always, and 98% of the time they have what I want.

I don’t abuse this, but twice I’ve called them to see if they would price match - fairly significant difference - and both times they were quite happy to. I don’t quibble over a couple of $$, especially when that gets free shipping, and even if it didn’t, they are worth an extra few $ every now and then. They are definitely a company who recognizes and rewards loyalty and seems to always want to earn that too.

I’ve ordered a lot from Valley Vet over the years. They are excellent and usually the first place I check for ordering things for the farm. I know my order will arrive exactly as it should with prompt, free shipping.

They are consistently good, I just wish they have more of the things I need! I somehow always end up at Jeffers instead just by virtue of the larger selection-- but I agree VV has great customer service.
