Value of 1993 Bison 2 Horse Bumperpull

I am looking at one…just want to make a fair offer if I like it. It looks good in the pictures (we know how that can land) but how much less does one offer on a trailer? It’s under $5,000…and yes, seeing the other thread, I am lucky I am married to a guy who welds and will work on a trailer, tho we would not buy it if it was obviously in bad condition. Don’t want to low ball, but since it’s negotiable, not sure what to negotiate!

A “fair price” is what a seller and buyer agree to.

Figure out what the trailer is worth to you and make the offfer. The trailer is 25 years old. Probably all steel…eg., rust. Probably needs a new floor and paint.

I would offer $2,500 if it was in excellent shape. If it needs major work, then it is worth scrap metal value.

I paid $2500 for mine (TB size, no dressing room, and I think it’s a '91) approximately eight years ago. If it’s in decent shape $2-$3k is probably not unreasonable.

When all else fails, Horsetrailerworld.com is a good benchmark

Yes. Excellent resource. And don’t forget to use the “sold” feature for more data points!
