Vanity Fair reads the Dressage Handbook

Don’t get all bent out of shape, they just quote some passages with silly and snide VF comments, all due to Rafalca, I’m sure.

:lol::lol::lol:

I’ve always wished that USEF would replace those drawings of “sad” horses… They really do look kind of miserable/worried.

An article ‘written’ by a woman with the name Juli. Come on, is that even a real name? :smiley: Anyhow it’s a shame Evgenia Peretz is a Vanity Fair contributing editor and who is she a cousin of? Notable dressage owner Jane Forbes Clark II.

I hope that doesn’t mean I’m supposed to know about (and/or respect) the hobbies/careers of my cousins. Because I have one that’s a show choir instructor…

I think it would be fun to try to write a romance story with only phrases from the USEF rulebook. Maybe all disciplines, though.

That was actually pretty funny! :slight_smile:

If you’ve temporarily misplaced your funnybone

Just imagine Steven Colbert reading all the quoted material.

The article was hilarious!
