I was considering getting a pair. Can some one tell me how they like the boots? Does the liner come out to wash? How are they in comparison to the EquiFit boots?
Thanks in advance!

I do not have the Carbon Gel boots, but I do have a pair of the Olympus front boots and the Equifit boots.
I have not used the Veredus much as I just got them, but the others in my barn that have them have held up very well.
I find that the Equifit boots do scuff easily. I have not tried to wash my liners yet, so I can’t comment on that aspect.
The Veredus boots are much more form fitted than the Equifits. I bought these brands specifically because they come in a L/XL. Most jumping boots (e.g. Eskadron) look like little pony boots on him, not nearly tall enough!
I have a set of fronts and hinds, and while I do like them a lot- I love Veredus and have had a few sets over the years- the liners have gotten slightly frayed around the edges. They do not come out to wash, although you can put the whole boot in the washing machine on gentle. Mine began fraying before I washed them, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. Otherwise, they are great- my older horse has long TB legs and they fit him really well. As I said I’ve used Veredus for years and never had a problem with durability- and I always wash them in the machine- so hopefully I just got a slightly less well-made pair. It doesn’t affect them whatsoever- it is just a bit of fraying of the nylon covering of the liners.
I bought Eskadron Air Easy boots for my younger horse, who was a big WB, and I think when my TB’s Veredus wear out I might get a set of those for him for daily work, just because they seem a bit tougher.
And as for the Equifits- it depends on the model, obviously, but my old horse was pretty tough on his boots and I had trouble with them holding up. Plus, the liners stink when they get wet. But, I think they are nice boots in terms of the protection they offer.
I LOVE my Veredus Carbon Gel Boots. I only use them to jump and at shows, and I rinse them off every time I use them, so they have held up for the past two years perfectly- no marks on the neoprene liners. The medium fits my large-boned 16.2h TB mare perfectly. I love the tab closures, they are very secure, and they keep my mare’s legs nice and safe from the studs or borium she always has on her hind shoes.
As a working student, I put lots of boots on lots of horses, and my observations are (succinctly):
Eskadron- pretty tough, although the Velcro often fails, especially on the hind boots. I wouldn’t use these boots behind for anything, because they fall off or spin around far to frequently to be much more than an annoyance. (This is on multiple pairs from multiple production runs in multiple styles- just seems to be a company-wide trend). The front boots are a little better, but I’m still not impressed. The neoprene liners get hard quickly, and they are hot and heavy boots.
Woof Wear- tough as nails. These things will last and last and last. Great strike protection, but not much padding: a perfect hind ankle boot and great for some horses but not all. It depends on how they interfere. Velcro is double-lock and HOLDS.
Dover Pro- the liners on these things get destroyed in sand rings quickly.
