Very new here, so sorry if wrong - but is this an illegal picture of Arrogate?

This popped on facebook.
Picture shows him running downhill, but the back ground does not match up. Am I wrong?

Who is Ann Illeage?

An illegitimate, maybe?

The link to the picture doesn’t work. Maybe privacy settings.

Picture has been removed. Makes me want to know what it was LOL

I saw the picture. It shows him running downhill with Chrome fans running behind him with torches and pitchforks.

Sounds like “Photoshopped” but not sure where the illegality of it would be unless Arrogate has a trademark on his image.

OMG that made me laugh.

Chrome fans - you gotta love em. LOL

Just kidding. Actually I have no idea what the picture was, but I couldn’t help myself, making something up

Note to self: Do not type without glasses.
I like CC, but not a ‘Chromie.’ I really like Arrogate, but what do I know?
I can’t type, and spellcheck not working.:o

OP want to try again with your link? Find one that is public.

I’d like to, but the guy removed it. Jerry Espanoza? has removed the link on his fb page. I’ll try to locate from where ever I found it.

Photo looks fine and authentic to me.

Also he’s not running downhill. It’s the camera that isn’t level.

This thread has really confused me. What would make a picture of a racehorse illegal?

IMO only (and not an attorney  ) either trademark (copyright?) if the athlete’s image was such or re-posting of photographer’s trademarked photo (as the photographer owns the image unless that ownership is released). In the latter, up to the photographer to pursue violation. In the former, up to whomever owns the rights to the athlete’s image. Both would be civil, rather than criminal, cases.
