Where are you seeing they’re private? I can still see the horrifying one that was recently posted. But I’m admittedly not looking hard, don’t want to spend longer on her page than necessary.

There’s a new video posted 10 hours ago, it’s not private?

Please give a short description for those of us who refuse to give her clicks.

They have Seven and Gretchen hand grazing outside. I just saw pictures…no video (on FB).

Why oh why did I open tiktok to see baby seven with two fresh sets of surgical bandages on his back legs? Make it stop.

Oh geez. I’d been wondering what that poor creature was enduring lately. I had no idea it involved more surgery and more bandages.

Here’s a quick video where the vet talks about what procedure was done. It also shows some movement from him. There’s a couple other clips posted of him with a birthday cake🥺

I’m not sure why I expected differently from that link and from her subscribers.

I hope the research and learning the hospital is doing makes a huge difference in the care of premature horses in the future.

The updates are sad. Seven is so butt high, how will his wobbly front legs be able to support the weight and pressure?

I look at his bizarre tail carriage too. What else could possibly go wrong? Poor guy.

I say he’s going to get away from them trying to play with the mare and get injured so bad he will need to be euthed. Just watched him try to run and play with the mare. Poor fellow.

Can’t see the video, not sure I want to, but the UTCVM page had this (to me, gag-inducing) quote from KVS on a post shilling for donations:

"We made the call to try for Seven at the very beginning,” Van Slyke said in an update video in September. “And Seven has done nothing but try for us ever since then. He wants so bad to be a normal horse, and we are trying our best to give him the chance to do that.”

Really?
Seven wants?
Anthropomorphize much? :unamused:

If that happens they can blame having to euthanize him on the tragic accident that happened while he was being a horse and not the crazy medical pin cushion gone wrong thing.

How would Seven know what it’s like to be “a normal horse”? Did he watch a movie? Read a book? All he knows is the chronic pain and daily incumbrances forced upon him by humans who are determined to win some sort of perverted battle against fate and congenital defects.

UTCVM may well be learning new things, perfecting techniques and gaining knowledge that will help future preemie foals. But that means Seven is the proverbial sacrificial lamb. At least KVS could be honest about that. Instead she’s using him as a testament to her virtuous heart and unlimited financial resources, which she then monetizes. Ugh.

At least that’s my opinion.

Preach!

I’ve lost any respect I had might have had for KVS, her breeding “program” & enabling family :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
