Need recommendations for a good PPE vet in this area, with access to a tech who can shoot neck and back x-rays if we get that far. I found an old thread from 2010, but the top recommendation there (Dr Sylvia Ouellete, nee Greenman) has since moved out of state. Thanks in advance!
You could try the clinic in Chino Hills (that website is ancient…). They at least used to do PPE and can certainly do the imaging. But you’d have to haul in (or walk if the horse is on English Road in Chino Hills). I have friends who have used Dr Lindsay Brown who is in that area. Are you taking the part of OC that is Riverside/Chino adjacent or further south?
I left Chino Hills five years ago and don’t know who people are using. I can ask a friend who was at my barn in Chino Hills and is now in Orange Park Acres and has a vet she likes.
I can think of a few that I wouldn’t recommend.
My barn in Orange uses Orange County Veterinary Service https://ocequine.com. Or Equine Veterinary Associates http://www.evaequinevet.com. Both have excellent vets. I actually had a horrible experience with Dr.Sylvia Ouellette, so I am happy she left the area.
First of all, I had wonderful experiences with Dr. Ouellette.
Dr Samantha Abair is an excellent vet who may do PPEs in that area.
