Hi. I am looking at a horse in the Cleveland area. We are from New York. Does anyone have a recommendation for a vet for a ppe? Thanks
I had Cleveland Equine do mine; I’m in Fla, had them video flexions, xrays to my vet here in Florida. They were very cooperative.

Another vote for Cleveland Equine! Fantastic facility with great staff. Doc Genovese is a legend. He did the PPE on my guy. I think he has stepped down in the past few years, but you can’t go wrong with any of the vets there.

Dr. Ron still practicing? He is/was wonderful, thorough and realistic.
no, he is not active; stopped practicing in 2018; listed on the website as “retired, consultant”. He was one of the co-founders of the clinic.
Yes, he was my vet when I was in Cleveland.
Ron Genovese is retired (well-deserved!) but he’s left the practice in excellent hands!

Cleveland Equine is an excellent choice, Buckeye is another great practice in the area
Assuming this not for a horse at the track?
Allison at Cleveland Equine or McClellan at Equine Speciality are both very good. Berthold (CE) also has a lot of fans and I would trust his opinion on a PPE.
If you need a track vet, let me know.
I used Dr. David Miller, Summit Equine, to do a long distance PPE. He was spectacular to work with. He called routinely throughout the exam.
