Anyone out there know a vet who is located near upper east Tennessee (Tri-Cities, Asheville, Tryon, area) who is TRULY experienced with frozen semen?
JUST BECAUSE a vet does cattle with frozen all the time DOES NOT mean they can do horses!!!
Dr. Jacob Haught at Washington County Veterinary Services in Abingdon VA is a wizard with frozen. He’s gotten pregnancies with barely viable frozen (considered not viable by quite a few vets actually).
Dr Stephen Denton is the best vet I have ever had in my life and that says something. He takes his time to explain every possible outcome and is constantly attending further education type classes. His strong suit is lameness and repro. Can’t recommend him strongly enough and what makes it even better is he is a great person to boot!! If you need contact info let me know.
