Well, I had a yucky stomach virus last weekend and couldn’t hunt. This is a video from the weekend before. I was in the back of the HT on my second hunt with my new greenie. I got a bit of the hound music (yes, my buddy was chit-chatting, but she introduced me to Midland twenty-one years ago so I can’t complain!) Anyway, this sort of helped me through the weekend and thought others might enjoy it a little.

I love when hounds are working in the woods, it seems to swirl the music around you.
What type of hounds do you have in your pack?
We have Midland hounds of course! I think thirty and a half couple were out. Several puppies. Rocking a coyote.

Oh, fine to share. When they start really speaking in the piney woods the sound does seem to amplify. I was sitting there for awhile before I thought to set the camera to video, so it was quite a treat, but not a rare one.
