Is there a button that will take me directly to my profile and another where I can go directly to one of my “buddys’” profiles?
Click on the person’s username on their post and choose the first option in the menu, “View Public Profile”

I’ve got that part figured out. I don’t want to have to search for their posts all the time though.
On the top right of the page, click on quick links, then my profile.
Add them to your buddy list (click their name, then the last option “Add so-and-so to your buddy list”)
Then you can bring up the whole list via Quick Links --> Open Buddy List and click the blue orb in front of their name to see their profile.
