Anyone in the Lancaster Co. PA area know the Saturday hours of the Village Harness Shop in Intercourse? I can be there before 3 if they’re open that late. Somehow I think they close at noon or 1:00. It’s too hot to do any driving around here except in airconditioned cars.

I was there on a Sat afternoon and I seem to recall it was late, close to 5pm. 
An ad in Lancaster Farming lists their hours as
M-Th 7-5:30
F 7-7
Sa 7-4
Su closed
Im a little surprised with the late hours Sat as they are pretty clear they dont encourage just “tourists” to wander in from the shops across the road
And Witmers closes at 11am on Sat
How do I know - I keept rying to get there before 12 and just missing them
(never can seem to remember they close earlier)
Thanks to you all. I never went on Saturday for fear they’d be closed, so I’ll go next Saturday now that I know their hours. (I thought they were open later but was afraid to drive an hour to find out I’m imagining my wishes are true again)
They have that sign about tourists for sure… but I know it was late when we dropped in since we were sure they’d be closed but since we went right in and were ready to buy, they were very welcoming and not in any kind of rush to get us out of there. I found their card as well which states a 4 pm closing time.

Take a minute and check out the horse care and fly spray supplies when you are there. I don’t know if its still true, but they used to have really great prices.
