Virginia Eventing

Looking for information on Virginia Eventing Trainers (Prelim lvl looking to advance further).

I have a potential job opportunity that will pull me out of Ocala to Western VA, Vicinity Lynchburg and like any good eventer would a solid idea of the eventing landscape is a must before accepting said position. Board comes with the job so just looking for trainers, dressage as well. I did search some of the past postings, which were very informative, but focused on NoVa. Appreciate any information including the good, bad, and not so good!

It’s been nearly 20 years since I lived outside of Lynchburg but I’ve always said I would be willing to move back if given the opportunity.

Unless something has changed recently, Lynchburg doesn’t have a ton of eventing. Probably going to be disappointing coming from Ocala. But you are a couple hours from a lot of top notch eventers up towards Charlottesville. And also still within driving distance to plenty of competitions.

I have recently been offered a new job which will be moving me down to southern VA(Lynchburg area specifically) from CT. I am very unfamiliar with the area and I am struggling a bit to find a trainer or good local boarding barn and figured COTH might have an idea or two!
