This is a Horse & Hound thread about walking puppies that has me laughing aloud http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=540570
Nice article! I do miss walking puppies, one of the many highlights of hunting. Even with the mischief!
“The Field” once had an adorable article about walking puppies and had a photo of a puppy tangled in a blue lacy bra on the cover. So cute!
Thanks for sharing. I love the image of the puppies whirling around on the clothesline.
Favourite part, as the OP is discussing the puppies’ dissection of a feather dog bed…
“Luckily there wasn’t much of a wind but feathers seem to retain the memory of flying. A few feathers go a long way - a lot of feathers go even further”
I nearly peed myself!
The couple of hounds I walked out were very tame in comparison, just the typical brush-thievery and goofiness. They were a lovely couple and the bitch did very well at the hound show later that year too, I was so proud!
