Wall mount saddle racks for both English and Western saddles

Hi all
We’re planning our tack room. I ride English (evening) so have jumping and dressage saddles but my significant other wants to get back into riding and he will be riding Western.
We want to do wall mounted saddle racks. The Western saddle(s) placed lower on wall and second row for English saddles.
Can any Western riders weigh in on good wall mount saddle rack options for Western saddles? Is there a rule of thumb for the size/ shape?
Looking at different options. Metal vs making our own from wood.
For ‘fashion’ sake it would be nice to look at racks or designs that could accommodate either type of saddle so all the racks match
Ideas?

Here is one sturdy enough for both kinds of saddles.
Individual saddle racks will let you hang them as you wish high, low, in rows wide apart, closer:

Here is a similar one from Schneiders:

the safest saddle racks for english saddles fit up into the gullet and dont press on the panels - like those wooden ones you hang from an eye bolt. SInce a western saddle doesnt have padding, they dont have the same issue.

Not sure there is one style that works well for both.

I have heard that about English saddles, but in decades of using racks with panel support, have yet to see where the light weight of an English saddle panel is enough to damage the underneath of the panel in itself, unless stacking other weight over it, like more saddles?

We use these in our private tackroom, as we like to move them around:

We have used that type in other than portable for decades and have yet to see an English saddle panel damaged by those.

One of my saddles is now 50 years old and has lived in such tack racks without any mark on the panels.

Maybe some saddles have much softer, thinner leather panels, where that could happen?

I know there is at least one saddle fitter her on the Forums, but I dont know who it is. Hopefully this will be seen and commented on… and there are MANY links available in a simple google search. I’ll err on the side of caution.

Yes, always be aware of all that may pertain to something we are designing/managing.
Something to consider if some English saddle panels needing extra care when on racks is a known problem.
