Hello!
I need to move my horse from Columbia, SC to Dallas, Texas. He is 28 years old but in great health with the exception of an arthritic knee. Would require a box stall. I have looked into Equine Express but it would take 2 days without unloading and with multiple stops along the way. That made me nervous so I thought I’d look at alternative options. Thank you for your help!

I shipped my 15 year old horse from Raleigh, NC to Dallas, TX using Equine Express. It was literally the only time my horse has ever seemed content on a trailer. The box stall was spacious, none of my belongings were lost, and (this was the biggest shock) he didn’t exit the trailer dead lame. The driver seemed to know his stuff and when he led my boy calmly down the ramp I was more than thrilled.
It is a long trip, but I can tell you from personal experience I would ship with them again. This just happened last June.
I had a hard time finding another reliable option when I was concerned about the journey. And aside from a sketchy offer from someone claiming it would cost only $500 and take one day there isn’t really much else.
Well this probably didn’t help much. :lol: I pretty much just gave you the exact opposite of what you wanted. :winkgrin:
My horse travelled with Equine Express from New York to Corpus Christi. Got off the trailer in Lexington and in Pilot Point for a few hours into a stall both times. I had asked that the trip be broken up and they said no problem, they timed it so he would arrive in Lexington and wait for another transport which was coming from Florida. Arrived in good shape. Would recommend them.

Thanks to all! I have heard so many great things about EE, but unfortunately for this route they would not stop and it would take at best over 48 hours. However, as a result of this post, I had an offer from someone who had shipped bert several times in his show days! We are breaking it up in two parts. He leaves monday do send prayers and good thoughts that all goes well! Thanks for your help!
