Hay for Sale
Our supplier in PA has decided to get out of the hay business, but referred me to a farm on the Eastern Shore, Maryland. We live in Upper Marlboro, MD which is about 2 hours away and traveling to the eastern shore for hay just seemed out of the question. I am extremely particular about the hay I feed my horses and have been satisfied with our distributor in PA for 10 years but he is out of business now. I decided to call the farm and I spoke to a very nice gentleman who said they had about 2000 bales left. I asked about the quality and he stated it was an average quality so we decided to take the journey hoping it was worth the drive. When we arrived he was outside waiting with the barn wide open for us. I got out of the truck and that sweet smell I haven’t smelled in such a long time grabbed my attention immediately. He had 3 different kinds of hay and it was all beautiful and better than I had been getting for years. If this is only average for him I can’t wait to see his above average next year as I am now his newest customer. My boys loaded up 200 bales and we were on are way. My neighbor came over and helped us unload and liked it so much he called and got a load the following day. If you are in need of quality hay give him a try as “the price is right”!!!
