Bumping this up because the OP has still not gotten any satisfaction from Mr. Friedson or Paypal. Until this is resolved, everyone should be aware of what a nightmare this has been and avoid Allsaddles.com
Update:
I have been fighting with Paypal for several years. They kept on asking for more and more proof and information. I sent them extensive before and after photos, a letter from the master saddler who dissected my saddle hoping to fix it, tried sending back Ron’s leather that was taken off (which he refused shipment), and even offered to send them what remains of my trees and leather if they wanted it.
They keep running me in circles and you NEVER get a person to call you back about your case. They send nothing besides a letter saying that you had a case reviewed and if you are not happy with the outcome, to contact them at their number.
Bottom line is NEVER trust Paypal with a high value purchase. I have had better service going through my regular bank credit card.
What a shame. I’m glad you came back and gave an update even though it sucks. I stopped using paypay a couple years ago when a friend ended up in a similar situation to yours.
