Why this product is on the market is beyond me. I gave it to my Holsteiner gelding once and he got painful mouth sores from it. When I looked on the packaging it even warns of this side effect. I switched to Equimax and had zero issues. I try and tell everyone I know not to use it.

It has been said on this thread a few times, put your complaints in directly with FDA. You can submit using the adverse event form on FDA’s website or call your local consumer complaint coordinator. Their numbers can also be found on FDA.gov. We are required to follow up on all complaints received during an inspection. If FDA receives the complaints, it’s better because we have direct access to the information when heading out to an inspection.
Having said that, my horses have never had any reactions.
