I’m not familiar with the details of the incident. How did it happen? I mean, if I see a low-flying aircraft headed in my direction, I’m getting out of the way. Was the hunt follower on horseback at the time?
No, he was not on a horse at the time - although that is what the previous complaints related to - the fact that the gyrocopter was flying too low and spooking the horses.
He approached the gyrocopter to try and find out who the pilot was/was representing. It sounds like the pilot then deliberately re-started the g’copter which caused the tragedy.

Thank you for clarifying what happened. I hadn’t known exactly what happened and was wondering how a murder charge originated from this. How ghastly. I’m so sorry for the victim’s family and friends.

I don’t know. If the tragedy was caused by the pilot re-starting the g’copter when he was approaching the pilot, it screams murder to me. Now it may not be intentional but it is murder nonetheless.
Yet again ,I ask myself…“What is wrong with people?”
My thoughts are with the family and friends…
