While I hardly think she’s a one hit wonder, I do think that some horses are so special that it’s unlikely to have more than one in a lifetime. I think Valegro was one of those horses. It’s not unrealistic to think that she may never have another one like him. There will never be another one like him. Gifted, Sapphire, Rio Grande, Rox Dene… some horses are just special in addition to being great and they can never be replaced.
