Somehow the stars aligned and a qh mare has fallen into my lap. I was notlooking/made the decision to step away from horses for a while and it happened. She is everything I would never look at. A 15.2 thick wide quarter horse mare. I was talked into trying her. Expected her to be a typical qh. She totally impressed me. Talented, sporty and so athletic. Her movement is out of this world and she is so sweet. I’m gonna make it work.

Hey, since you don’t have a lot of time, why don’t you talk with your/a trainer and offer her as a low-cost/free part-time lease for some motivated young student. She could keep her legged up and exercised and you all would benefit
I am on the same page ellebeaux. I am going to discuss rides for 2 days a week to her advanced good riders. I know when i was a kid i sure appreciated the free rides from the busy horseowners.
