Watching Rolex online?

reply to Carol

Some of the audio didn’t work today, [Friday]. There was NO audio for the first two rides. I thought maybe she overslept, [never!] But figured it was a tecnical glitch. Later, there were several spaces where she was silent, and once or twice, she mentioned the entire park lost power. So who knows?
I would also like to thank Sally for her very funny commentary, about the ‘rotten’ mares, and the Aussie cheer for Andrew. Very good sport!

Hannahsmom: depending on which rides you missed, they generally put up the top scoring rides up individually during or right after the event. After the event they’ll normally pull out the videos of the top people and put them up individually. If youre looking for someone who didn’t do so hot then it is a pain fl wade through all the footage and fast forwarding.

What is the weather report?

The top 20 sure are a solidly who’s who, aren’t they?

I am rooting for Karen and Becky: each a comeback kid with two in the top 20. I especially want to see Veronica do well, though. I know little about her because I haven’t had the time to follow much, but after King’s Temptress last year and admiring my mares with their new babies right now, I am 100% FOR THE GIRLS this year!!!

(Plus, Teddy’s 3/4 sister Chrissy is due to drop a Comet Shine baby for her owner out in California next month.

Oh, AND all three of my 2012 foals are fillies this year!)

Yup, it’s GO GIRLS all the way for me!

I am going to get no work done at all this morning.

I am teaching this morning, but hope to get home in time to watch on satellite in the afternoon.

I am rooting for Allison, Clark, Karen, and Becky. Allison, Clark, and Becky all got their starts in the midwest… rare… very rare. I remember Allison riding her pony, Miss Molly, and winning the novice (or was it pre-training back then) at FRVPC Horse Trials when she was a wee thing! And I believe both she and Clark were out of the same PC.

Sooo…where’s the livefeed?

I was wondering that too…

First ride starts at 10am

Ah. I was confused because the broadcast schedule says 9am eastern.

 Well that explains it. Oops.

Sounds like Buck has withdrawn both horses, so first ride will be 10:08…

Buck’s horses were withdrawn. Hope everything is okay!

ETA - Oops posted at same time as above poster.

Does anyone know how to stop the (playback or live) video from stuttering and staggering along?

Looks like Killian O’Connor was also withdrawn.

What did the judges do about Erin Sylvester’s lateness into the ring? (I was watching Katie Ruppel’s ride and caught that afterward.)

Gave her an error of -2.

I think buck withdrew his horses because he is recovering from a broken collar(?) bone.

Anyone know if there will be x-country commentary on the USEF feed?

ETA - never mind it appears to be starting now. LOL

I don’t think the video and announcing are quite in sync yet this morning, but at least the live stream is streaming.

Sort of streaming - I mean showing the finish and the NBC commentator when we want to be watching Andrew just proves further that this livestream is run by a bunch of amateurs!!! HIRE SOME PROS!!! Then the pros can do their commentary properly!!!

ANDREW NICHOLSON had two STOPS and withdrew!!! :frowning:
