Watching Rolex online?

Firstly: thanks for posting the llnk. Makes work not such a booorrrring place today

Now for the Dumb Question of the Day:
I am seeing some riders in double bridles, others in just (what looks like) snaffles.
Is this an Eventing Dressage thing?

At 2* and above, double bridle is permitted. Riders ride in what their horse goes best in–either a snaffle or a double.

Bummed to be working but caught Kate and Belmont’s test this morning—so thrilled for her. Sub 50 score at her first 4*. Not too shabby! And he isn’t an easy ride…that boy is ready for xc tomorrow

Caught a few more rides and hoping I can sneak watching the last few before work blows back up!!!

Thank you USEF for putting this online for those of us who can’t be there!!!

docelle- I was thinking the exact same thing!

Its in 4 parts now.

Is this on TV or live streaming?

Help!

I’ve subscribed to http://www.feitv.org/page/Home/
I’m logged in, but whenever I click on the live coverage i keep getting sent to the payment page :frowning:

what am I doing wrong?

I try to watch at the correct US time - obviously I am making a big boo-boo somewhere
ETA:
Never mind, their customer response was super quick, and fixed the problem

A very big if … but if Clark Montgomery comes through with the jumping phases, I am wondering if he just rode onto the Olympic team. He and the horse just seem to have it all coming together this year.

Anyone know - where is 2012 Rolex KY on the FEI site?

Or is the replay of dressage on the USEF?

thanks

Reining is streaming live on USEF Network right now. I don’t know if it’s on the FEI site or not.

The music right now is… interesting

ETA: I was afraid we’d see our first fall of the competition when the judges were climbing their rather wobbly, high chairs.

No, it’s Sally O’ Connor

good guess but, no, it’s Sally O’Connor:yes:

xc is LIVE on NBC Universal Sports TV tomorrow

And it’s live streaming still on USEF, I think.

Details are on the USEF TV site,

Reining?

Is the reining still on? Can’t find it
Link?

ON DEMAND VIDEO?

hhow do you get the on demand video? I want to watch the last rides from today;)!
Sally is hilarious – she got the crowd to do the Aussie cheer as Andrew Hoy came out of the ring, causing the horse to just about leap out of his skin :lol::lol: Andrew tipped his hat and Sally gleefully cackled.
Thanks for explaining this…I was watching in class so I had it muted and now that makes me want to go back and rewatch his test!

well. I found the video…

gthe audio is great but, the video doesn’t run, suggestions, anyone?

Carol, I can’t help you (wish I was enough of a wonk to do so). But I so appreciated Sally O’Connor’s commentary yesterday and today. She was TERRIFIC! Listening to her was like having a clinic, and I realized even more how much her commentary enhanced the experience when I pulled up a video of a test and her commentary wan’t on it.

Thank you, Sally. Especially from all of us who are of Beth Perkins’ vintage!

And I apologize if this has already been posted, but I don’t think it can be emphasized enough.

bummer was trying to find the rides I missed on the USEF site and not to be found. The couple of videos they had were choppy and pretty much unwatchable

I received a reply from USEF Network this afternoon on twitter.com. They plan to upload BOTH DAYS of Rolex 2012 Dressage to replay, hopefully by Saturday morning.

It’s a massive amount of labor involved to get the quality of camera work on a rather boring subject, and then to edit it and add it to the internets for totally free. I’m willing to be patient!
