Hi,
We bought a new trailer with a large water tank in the tack room. It wasn’t secured correctly and 15 gallons or more dumped. Now the trailer lights, all of them, do not work. Suggestions?
Give it a week or so to dry out. A wiring harness or connector somewhere probably got wet. If it is really rainy/damp or below freezing where you are, it may take longer to dry out completely. If they still don’t work after a couple of weeks, time to take it to the repair shop so they can track it down and fix it.
ETA: do make sure also that you didn’t blow a fuse when you plugged the trailer in and turned on power…
New trailer? Dealer or manufacturer should fix/clean for free.
Agree that you should check fuses. I had a tire blow heading down to SoCal last year. When the tire shredded, the wires in the tire did a fair amount of damage to the undercarriage of the trailer and caused the fuses for all of the lights on the right side of my trailer to cease functioning. But it turned out to be a fuse in my truck that needed to be replaced.
