Ways to "dress up" a pole barn arena

Got the go ahead to start pricing and planning an indoor arena  it will be just for me and my kiddos, so smaller (60 x 120). To match our existing structure, it will be a brick red color, with charcoal gray wainscoting and roof. We plan to have clear panels in the top 2-3 feet for extra lighting.

What I don’t love thinking about, is 120’ of solid colors. Two colors will serve to break it up some, but any other neat ideas, landscaping, or other suggestions to make 120’ not seem so bland?

Thanks in advance!

You can probably put trim along the bottom of the clear panels.

I would just plant some nice landscaping. Lucky you to have an indoor!

Mirrors!

I also like the look of flags - US & State & any Assn you may belong to.

If you want to go all Martha Stewart:
On the ledge atop your kickboard maybe some narrow windowboxes you can plant with perennials and/or greenery.
Of course that just adds to maintenance… unless you go artificial… & that will need dusting.

Are you worried about 120 feet of interior or exterior decorating?

If exterior, than as others have said, landscaping is your friend - bushes / trees of differing heights, flowers, large rocks, etc. Plant them far enough from the walls so they will not be a problem as they grow - rubbing on the walls on windy day, making horse spooking noises and damaging the surface, clogging gutters, etc.

If interior, than mirrors, flags, panels of differing colors (but all within the same color family unless you like a wild look…).

I’m planning to build one too and just visited an arena that put in 3x4 windows high enough a horse cannot see outside them and it made such a difference. They had three windows on each side of the open door. So, 6 windows along the long side. Light makes such a difference. He bought Andersen 100 windows.
