So I’ve always wondered what really is WCHR? I know it stands for world champion hunter rider, but what shows is it at? I know WEF has a WCHR week and the new combination of Saugerties and HITS called the “Great American Summer Series” also has one, but what’s special about that week? If I’m champion in the 3’3 older junior hunters in WCHR week, am I the official world champion hunter rider for 3’3 Older Junior Hunter until the next WCHR competition or something?
It’s just another points and award program. Those “weeks” designated as WCHR count toward WCHR standings. The finals are at Cap Challenge each year.
