Luna is bigger and stronger now. She wrestles with Miggy. I cannot express how much Miggy adores her. He thinks we brought home a kitten just for him! He lets her eat first, play with toys first, everything.

Cat behavior experts: I noticed a behavior I had only seen in baby horses. I saw Luna making suckling motions with her mouth in the midst of a wrestling session. She had just done a dirty pounce on Miggy while he was washing his face. He sat up and had his ears back. She did the jumping sideways with her ears back in front of him. Then as if she noticed Miggy was really peeved, she flicked her ears forward and did the suckle face (still in play attack position). It was like “I’m just a baby don’t hurt me”. They wrestled again, but he was gentle. I did not know cats did that.

Ralph. The notorious Florida barn kitty rescued from euthanasia at the pound, not once, but twice. Then, moved to a much colder climate where he basically pouts and stays in the heated workshop when it’s cold or snowing.
