We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

My Mom, who lived with me, passed away last month and Angel was her buddy…even though Mom wasn’t a cat person (isn’t it always the way?).

Well, she seems to have gotten over her loss and decided I am the only game in town. Now if I could get her to quit licking my knees :smirk:. It shouldn’t be much of an issue soon as the temps are finally dropping. It was 92 on the day of the picture, hence the shorts. She can also be a super lounger.

Beautiful kitty. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you. I got her from a rescue when she was 7. She is now 9. Apparently her previous owner passed away. She knew something was going on with Mom for the last 10 days or so. They are so perceptive…and she had experienced that before.

At the rescue which is a no cage shelter, she didn’t get along with her roommates and spent most of her time in a cat tree cubby hole. With those gorgeous blue eyes and her sad face (at the time), I had to take her home. She was one of the few cats that didn’t get concerned or downright scared about Mom’s walker.

My sister wanted a picture of her as soon as I got her home…there she is :joy:. She warmed up to us fairly fast.

I’m sorry about your mom.

I’m surprised he isn’t more intrigued by the antlers.

She tends to be interested in whatever her human (ie me is doing. :joy:I was doing some research and she thought she would help me out . ( Really she just creates chaos).

hahaha she thought she really found an excellent little hidey-hole. She looks like a valuable research assistant who is undoubtedly due for a merit increase.

She was hired as a rodent control specialist and took on employees moral and guest greeting as collateral duties .

Sounds like a real go-getter who is adding value to the role. She’s ready for a raise. More treats should be distributed stat. No need to run it by HR.

I’m sorry about your mom.

Do you know what kind of cat she is? My friend has a cat with the same coloring and blue eyes.

She is a lynx point Siamese which is just a cross between a tabby and a Siamese…the cat equivalent to a doodle? There are several ______ point Siamese varieties.

I felt so sorry for her and she was so miserable at the rescue. She had been there a month like that. When she got out of her introductory safe room, I had never seen a cat that was that clumsy. It was just lack of fitness. As soon as she got some exercise and got her muscles working, she really is a normal cat.

Just because (kind of like Peepy cat). Inspecting the dishwasher for me.

Keeping Mom company (and warm) :revolving_hearts:.
