Weaning (badly weaned) kittens from sucking on…uh…. each other?
I don’t know but I think you are having more than your share of cat nether part problems. Is Someone perhaps punishing you for something?? :)
Clearly. The crime, I believe, was not posting pictures but only offering ones of cat diarrhea.

And how is it that I have not yet changed my ways? I’m a hardened lazy bones.

Time for the cone of shame! The “area” needs to heal. After it’s healed up, try the bitter apple again.
Yeah, I thought of that, too. I’ll let you know what the shelter says about Anbesol or does about a cone. Maybe I can make my own. Ideas about how?

I wouldn’t usually think this would be safe on a doofus kitten. But I can keep this one in a giant dog crate. (It has a loft!).

This is the Natural Born Cuddler of the bunch, so I’d like to do what I can for him.

If Perp Boy is working the program it would be a 48-Step program since he is a 4-legs.

Glad you have separated the boys. Hope the victim’s boy-parts will heal up soon!

I know this isn’t really a funny thread per se, but it’s still damned funny.

(Sez she who has two cats fighting for lap space as she types.)

Well, they put wee little cones on wee little kittens when they’re first spayed, should they show an interest in chewing their stitches. The V-E-T or pet supply should have the right size, and you can give him a fashionable ribbon or neckerchief. They also have the blowup donut neck-thingies, but I’ve found 99.9% of cats are far too flexible for that to dissuade them much.

They’re safe enough - if kitteh really gets into a bind, it’ll come off. My orange dude could teach a course on cone removal.

Wow, that pacifier is really something…

You DO know that none of this is the “sexual” activity you are labeling it as, right? Am I the only one that doesn’t think it’s cute that you’re referring to the behavior as a “blow job” or one kitten “going down on itself”? I am the farthest thing from a prude, so it’s not the subject matter, I just can’t tell if you are trying to be cute/weird/attention-grabby/whatever by pretending that’s what is going on, instead of just simply stating that you have a pair of kittens that are trying to suckle on each other and what might be done to redirect the behavior…

Definitely don’t put any kind of local anesthetic on a cat - they are very sensitive to those particular drugs. Confer of shame is the way to go.

DEFINITELY don’t put any kind of local anesthetic on a cat - they are very sensitive to those particular drugs and can develop tremors, arrhythmias, etc. Cone of shame is the way to go.

I’m aware this isn’t sexual. I said as much in the first post. I’m sorry if it offended you. I hadn’t seen anything like this before and-- given what I had to describe-- the whole BJ thing made sense, just in terms of talking about what the brother cats were doing.

Otherwise, the shelter did give me a cone, but its cloth since the plastic one was too big. Still, kitteh is an expert at getting an arm in it and freaking out. He needs to wear it, but while I’m home to supervise. Not sure how this is going to work, but he will wear it.

Nm. I posted in anger. Im sure everything will work out.

Happy update

 1. I don’t get y’all getting riled up over kittens ferchrissakes. They’re the epitome of cute-n-cuddly. This isn’t assigned reading. Both should contribute to lowered blood pressure, not more stress.

 2. With some judicious social- and physical management, I’m happy to say that Little Kitty has come through ok. The whole group got a barrage of wormers and antibiotics (as per the shelter). And kitty’s nether regions got a enough of a break that it calmed down and no one had to lick it anymore.

Now that they are growing nicely, it will be just a couple of weeks before they reach the 2# mark and are ready to go back to the shelter for their spaying/neutering and adoption into new families.

Oh, and the shelter did give me some Bitter Apple to try on Kitteh Pink Parts. Did nothing to deter the owner of those parts. The other kittens did find it off-putting.

Glad to hear your update!
